TELNET TUNISIA

Has just written a decisive page in its history through a highly technological feat, namely the launch this morning by the Russian rocket # Soyuz2 from the # Baikonur cosmodrome in #Kazakhstan, of the first Tunisian #satellite in the ‘space, dubbed #ChallengeOne “.

Designed and developed by Tunisian skills, our satellite allows the transmission of useful data to citizens by connecting objects located on Earth #Internet_of_Things using, for the first time, the #LoRa communication protocol via space. This is the ambition of “Challenge One”!

With a mission duration of 5 to 7 years, the Tunisian satellite will target “white areas”, ie 90% of the planet. This is the first time that the LoRa communication protocol, intended primarily for terrestrial networks, has been applied in space, thus increasing the possibilities of connectivity and diversification of uses. This is the main objective of Challenge One!

Placing an object in space and keeping it rotating around Earth while communicating with it from Earth is our major challenge, which we have successfully overcome with “Challenge One”! A pride for all Tunisians and for TELNET Tunisia.
