The project estimated at $25 billion will be an extension of the West African pipeline, which will link Nigeria to the coastal cities in #WestAfrica and end at #Tangiers, #Morocco, at a distance of about 5,660 kilometres. The pipeline is also expected to connect with #Spain through #Cádiz. The 678km West African #Gaspipeline is the first regional natural gas transmission infrastructure development in #SubSaharanAfrica, connecting Nigeria with #Benin, #Togo and #Ghana, which was officially commissioned in 2007.
